Lace Up is a captivating tale about a young boxer from Edinburgh who after ten years of fighting finally has the world at his feet.

Trained by his brother (Teddy), and put under immense pressure to pursue success by his promoter (Jack).

The story follows Stuart Macmillan as he punches his way to a world title shot in Las Vegas.

A shocking turn of events in the ring casts doubt on whether Stuart is as determined as he seems. As pressures mount, and the biggest fight of his life looms, Stuart has one decision to make - what price would you pay to achieve your dream?

 

Lace Up is a play by Trav 50 writers Mikey Burnett and Joseph McCann, making its world premier at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringa Festival.
